Responsibilities- Assist catering operations with the loading, unloading, pick-up, and delivery of goods and materials.
- Load and unload aircraft in accordance with airline and DO & CO regulations and specifications, ensuring accurate and timely catering for all flights.
- Adhere to all applicable airport, airline, and regulatory agency rules and regulations.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards as outlined in the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) handbook and promptly report any issues to management or the Hygiene and Food Safety Team.
- Communicate general information regarding department policies, procedures, and relevant federal, state, and local regulations to the public and internal stakeholders.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Maintain flexibility to support various operational needs as required.
- Minimum of 1 years of professional experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location. This includes meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR §, and obtaining the appropriate airport‑issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent), in accordance with local airport authority regulations.
- Proactive and self‑organized, with the ability to manage a substantial workload effectively.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team‑oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to complete tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving products, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
- Pay rate: $21.25 hourly.
