Park Hyatt Zanzibar seeks an experienced Arabic Sous Chef to craft authentic cuisine, oversee daily kitchen operations, train and mentor junior chefs, support menu development, ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation, and elevate our luxury dining experience for guests from around the world.
QualificationsFormal culinary degree or recognized certification.
Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience, with at least 3 years specializing in Arabic cuisine.
Proven expertise in Arabic cooking techniques, spices, and flavor profiles.
Strong leadership and team management skills in a luxury or fine‑dining environment.
Experience in menu development, food costing, and kitchen operations.
Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety standards.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
