We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Barista to join our team at Leaf Coffee
. The ideal candidate is passionate about specialty coffee, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. You will be the face of our shop, ensuring every guest leaves with a perfect cup of coffee and a smile.

• Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, teas, and seasonal specialties, adhering to our quality standards and recipes.

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and answer questions regarding our coffee blends, brewing methods, and food menu.

• Point of Sale (POS): Efficiently handle cash and credit card transactions using the POS system; maintain an accurate cash drawer.

• Maintenance: Clean and sanitize work areas, brewing equipment, and seating areas throughout the shift. Follow all health and safety regulations.

• Restocking: Monitor inventory levels and restock beans, milk, syrups, and pastry displays as needed.

• Teamwork: Communicate effectively with teammates to ensure smooth service during "rush" hours.

• Experience: Previous experience in a specialty coffee shop or food service is preferred but not required (we provide training!).

• Skills: Ability to multitask, strong communication skills, and a basic understanding of coffee profiles.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods (6–8 hours) and lift up to 30 lbs.

• Availability: Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

• Certification: Must have or be willing to obtain a [State Name] Food Handler’s Permit.
