Working with the R&D team on microencapsulation in New Hampton, NY, you will participate in laboratory activities such as lab/chemical hygiene, helping with small‑scale pilot runs, running tests and analyzing results, gathering and presenting information from science literature, in addition to providing general help where needed.

• Write SOPs, work instructions, and test methods
• Maintain lab cleanliness and other routine laboratory tasks
• Perform standard tests and analysis on various laboratory instruments
• Support laboratory safety
• Provide written reports as requested
• Assist in preparation of test solutions, reagents, and chemical compounds
• Contribute on research activities on microencapsulation
• Work in a team environment
• Assist with pilot lab trails
• Assist in ordering supplies
• Perform literature searches

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited University.
• Working towards a degree in the sciences e.g., Chemistry, Biology
• Must have completed a minimum 1 semester of Organic Chemistry
• Ability to work a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week between 8:00am-5:00pm (Mon-Fri)
