Position SummaryReporting to multiple Principal Investigators, the Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Scientist works on the 3E Study, investigating how economic stressors and educational protective factors affect cardiometabolic and oral health outcomes among emerging adult college students. Responsibilities include data analysis (including cardiometabolic, self‑report, and smartphone data). The candidate will assist in preparing manuscripts and conference presentations, oversee and mentor undergraduate/graduate research assistants, and complete other tasks as necessary.
The position is renewable, contingent on funding.

Additional FunctionsRequired Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Ph.D. or other relevant graduate degree plus equivalent years of experience in Psychology, Public Health, Sociology, Education, or relevant quantitative social science.
- Minimum of one year of experience analyzing quantitative data from at least one, longitudinal cohort dataset.
- Experience conducting quantitative data management and data analyses using statistical software.
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience working in a collaborative, hybrid research laboratory environment.
- Experience with advanced statistics, including multi‑level models, latent profile analysis, and/or causal mediation.
- Experience with academic writing and submitting manuscripts to peer‑reviewed>
- Excellent at communicating quantitative research findings in writing and in presentations (e.g., written, verbal).
- Strengths in organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
- Expertise in conducting quantitative data analysis in Stata and/or R.
- Experience with survey data, anthropometric data, daily diary data, and/or accelerometer/other wearable data.
- Experience writing successful Institutional Review Board applications and protocols.
- Experience writing manuscripts for academic journals.
Minimum Starting Salary: $60,000
Maximum Starting Salary: $70,000
