The Shi group is seeking motivated Postdoctoral Associates with an excellent work ethic and background in molecular simulation and machine learning.
Job Responsibilities- Develop simulation algorithms and software to model challenging gas adsorption behavior in porous materials
- Develop novel machine learning model for predicting gas adsorption behavior
- Investigate molecular transport and separation mechanisms for membrane process
- Publish journal articles and present research in professional conferences

Minimum Qualifications- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- The candidate should have a background in at least one of the following areas: quantum mechanics, molecular simulation, and machine learning (preferably generative AI)
- Strong publication record
- Ability to work independently
- Previous experience in similar research topics listed in position summary
