Laboratory Technician - Consumer Foods

Responsibilities

• Support scientists in testing new ingredients and beverage models.
• Submit samples for analytical or sensory testing.
• Thoroughly document experimental details.
• Accurately entry data and analyze results.
• Support production runs in technical center pilot plant.
• Maintain and document laboratory inventory
• Capable of performing all activities in a safe manner and within the context of safety protocols.
• Capable of working in the lab under GLP/GMP practices.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Ability to manage multiple project tasks to support the individuals of the workgroup, manage time and expectations for group needs.
• Effectively communicate conflict of requests.

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, or related field.
• Laboratory bench work experience in school or at a consumer goods company. (Experience in food and beverage industry is a plus).
• Familiarity with lab analytical instruments and beverage processing equipment.
