Why this role is important at Ipsos: As a Research Analyst
, you support the delivery of strategic insights to clients through the execution of research projects. This role involves a variety of studies requiring strong time management and attention to detail. You will learn to contribute to quantitative research design and gain experience managing key market research projects.
- Work with the project team and internal resources to meet client needs.
- Participate in client communication (email, phone, etc.) to understand needs and capture requests and feedback for project documents.
- Familiarize yourself with key clients/accounts within the Service Line.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Share files and updates with clients when appropriate.
- Collaborate with the project lead to execute and deliver reliable and timely data by owning tasks throughout the project lifecycle (e.g., link checking, data quality checks, and report population).
- Focus on executional excellence with increased independence.
- Understand the project lifecycle for custom research and manage projects from client approval to deliverables with project lead oversight.
- Collaborate with internal Ops partners and the project lead in project execution.
- Manage project timelines.
- Mentor new Analysts on core competencies.
- Questionnaire review and revision; creating and submitting project materials.
- Manage internal project partners and review/finalize links.
- Monitor fieldwork and review/finalize data tables.
- Spec, chart, and proof report slides.
- Manage multiple projects/priorities and resolve problems that arise.
- Participate in mentorship of new Analysts and Interns, including shadowing on projects and providing guidance on tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Increase independence with internal project partners to help keep projects on schedule and within scope.
- Participate in analytic plan meetings with the project team.
- Create report shells with project team direction and ensure timely and accurate report creation.
- Review survey data and begin to analyze and interpret survey results (may assist with writing headlines).
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Market Research
- 1+ years of primary, quantitative research experience in a professional setting (including internship experience)
- Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
- Highly organized with good time management; ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
- Clear, concise written communication skills
- Ability to positively interact with internal support teams
- Ability to understand and adapt to in-house operational forms, processes, and software

In accordance with NY/CO/WA law, the estimated base salary for this role is $59,000 to $66,500. For San Francisco-based applicants the estimated base salary is $69,600 to $71,500. Final base salary will be determined based on factors including location, experience, skills, knowledge, education, and certifications.
