Overview

Position Description A Research Technician position is available in Yeh Lab/CSHL Antibody Technologies Shared Resource. Qualified candidates interested in cancer biology, cell signaling, protein technologies and drug discovery are encouraged to apply. The Research Technician will be an integral part of a collaborative chemical biology and drug discovery team, employing various techniques including chemical synthesis, biochemical assays, protein production and chemical modifications etc.

The position will also be responsible for general laboratory organization and maintenance. Mentored research training will be provided.

• Participate in mentored research training.

• Education: A Bachelor’s in chemistry or related discipline is required or Master’s degree in organic chemistry is welcome.
• Skills & Experience: Demonstrate good work ethic and personal skills for working independently and as part of a team. Strong coursework and performance in bio-organic or organic chemistry is essential.
