Position Title:
Research Support Specialist, Neurosurgery
The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in neuroimaging analysis and artificial intelligence (AI). The Research Support Specialist will support several projects, including an ongoing neuroimaging biomarker clinical trial. The successful candidate will execute analysis of neuroimaging scans, develop artificial intelligence models for biomarker outcomes prediction and contribute to neural data analysis.
ResponsibilitiesSpecific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing study MRI scanning procedure
- Analysis of neuroimaging data: structural MRI, chemical exchange saturation transfer and Positron Emission Tomography
- Developing artificial intelligence algorithms to predict biomarker findings
- Contributing to manuscript writing
- Neural recording analysis
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of fundamentals of chemical exchange saturation transfer imaging and experience with CEST analysis
- Strong image analysis skills utilizing standard neuroimage analysis tools such as Free surfer or ANTs
Preferred Qualifications
- MS in Engineering Science with focus on artificial intelligence
- Experience with Olea medical CEST analysis module

Salary Range: $27,000 - $31,000
