ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for supporting a scientific team conducting translational research in hematology, blood disorders and stem cell biology. The person would be responsible for conducting cellular and molecular studies using animal models and culture systems, analyzing data and presenting the findings to the laboratory.
Responsibilities include:
Education:
A doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering or a related field is required.
Experience:
Must have hands-on experience with cell culture, flow cytometry analyses, western blot and animal handling.
Knowledge of computer science, genomics and molecular biology is required.
For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $53,760.00/year to $65,292.00/year. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
Additional $20K housing allowance in addition to base salary.
