Postdoctoral Research Scientist; Dr. Chang Lee's Lab

The College of Dental Medicine invites candidates to apply for a position as Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Regenerative Engineering Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Chang H. Lee.

The Regenerative Engineering Laboratory, directed by Dr. Chang H. Lee, is a part of the Center for Dental and Craniofacial Research (CDCR) in the College of Dental Medicine. CDCR contains over 4000‑sq feet of space, including state‑of‑the‑art research facilities, and serves as an inter‑campus hub for interdisciplinary collaboration. The Lee Lab has a long‑lasting, active collaboration with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

The candidate will have an opportunity to investigate multi‑tissue crosstalk and the effect of patient‑specific pathophysiological factors in joint tissue disease, injury and regeneration.

Self‑motivated individuals with PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with Organ‑On‑a‑Chip expertise are encouraged to apply.

PhD with at least five years of wet‑lab research experience in a related field.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent scientific vigor, critical thinking, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
