Program Director – Neurology Division

We are seeking a Program Director to support development and growth of the inaugural Division of Brain and Cognitive Health Technology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY.

The Program Director will report to Division Director Laura Germine and oversee overall research operations, including supervision of research staff, writing research articles, and preparing grant applications.

Responsibilities
  • Support development and growth of the Division’s research agenda in cognitive monitoring, neuropsychological assessment, and risk prediction.
  • Supervise research staff and oversee data management and analysis across projects.
  • Write empirical research articles and prepare grant applications with investigators in the Division.
  • Collaborate with investigators to prepare grant applications and manage interdisciplinary projects.
  • Engage in the open sharing and dissemination of new technologies for cognitive monitoring and neuropsychological assessment.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or PhD in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, epidemiology, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in conducting experiments, performing advanced data analysis, and supervising research staff.
  • Experience in neuropsychological or cognitive assessment and data management.
  • Knowledge of aging, neurodegenerative diseases, neuropsychiatric diseases is desirable.
  • Experience with time series or longitudinal data and computational/statistical methods for time series analyses.
  • Strong work ethic, organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies or software environments and a strong foundation in statistics.
  • Excellent writing skills and a good publication record.
Salary

USD $71,000.00 per year.
