Job Overview

We are a top real estate team seeking a Leasing Agent to market properties, show units, and secure leases. The role offers ongoing education, a supportive sales force, and administrative assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Show prospective tenants properties and highlight available amenities.
  • Utilize social media, websites, and marketing strategies to attract new tenants.
  • Determine tenants’ needs, living standards, and economic viability to match them to appropriate properties.
  • Establish rental rates based on local market research and cost calculations to ensure fair pricing.
  • Verify rental applications, references, and applicant credentials for accuracy.
  • Negotiate lease terms and contracts in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and security deposit handling.
  • Maintain high occupancy rates by staying updated on local market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Past sales experience preferred; a proven record of sales success is required.
  • Strong knowledge of leasing rules, real estate law, and lease practices.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Publisher.
  • Authorization to work in the US.
  • Commission-only compensation package (to qualify).
  • Active NY Real Estate License.
  • Demonstrated leasing experience.
  • Proficiency in marketing and lead generation.
Compensation

$125,000+ yearly commission at plan earnings.
