Lease Coordinator (Affordable Housing) - Bronx, NY | $50,000 per year | Full-Time (In-person)
About the OpportunityEqual Access is partnering with a vertically integrated real estate organization that owns and manages a large portfolio of residential and mixed-use properties across New York City. The firm operates with in-house accounting, property management, and operations teams and places a strong emphasis on financial accuracy, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
We are seeking an Leasing Coordinator to support high-volume invoice processing, vendor management, and payment operations within a fast-paced real estate environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and experienced in affordable housing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and mail monthly lease renewal offers
150–120 days prior to lease expiration. - Send required tenant notices according to regulatory timelines
- Track lease expirations, renewal status, and follow-up deadlines.
- Prepare holdover packages for unrenewed leases and submit to the Legal Department by the 15th of each monthfor leases expired the prior month.
- Generate renewal packets and notices using
Microsoft Word mail merge. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in Yardi.
- Work with various lease types and subsidy programs, including
PBV contracts. - Apply working knowledge of610 calculations and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with property management, compliance, and legal teams.
- Maintain organized, audit‑ready files.
- Fluent in Spanish and English(written and verbal) — required.
- Experience using
Yardi preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, including mail merge.
- Understanding of affordable housing lease types and compliance requirements.
- Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage recurring deadlines in a high‑volume environment.
- Prior experience in affordable housing, compliance, leasing administration, or property management preferred.
