Product Development Quality Assurance Coordinator

On-site. This job requires frequent travel.

The Opportunity

Are you a strong communicator with a sharp eye for detail and uncompromising standards? IL MAKIAGE is seeking a passionate, quality‑obsessed team member to join our Product Development – Quality Control team in NYC. In this role, you’ll safeguard the quality and consistency of our high‑performance beauty products – from innovative new launches to established bestsellers. You will travel to manufacturers worldwide, meet suppliers and product testers from around the world.

As part of a fast‑moving, cross‑functional team, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across the entire product development life cycle and work closely with internal teams and external partners—from R&D to contract manufacturers—driving impact from day one.

What You’ll Do
  • Shade & Color Evaluation: Review, evaluate, and support color submissions for complexion and color products. Conduct side‑by‑side assessments against master standards and competitive benchmarks.
  • Production Oversight: Partner with suppliers and labs to assess and approve production batches in alignment with IL MAKIAGE’s quality standards.
  • On‑Site Support: Travel to contract manufacturers and lab partners for formula checks, shade evaluations, and live production reviews.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless product launches, reorders, and continuous quality.
  • Testing & Compliance: Develop and execute testing protocols to ensure product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across global markets.
  • Special Projects: Support ongoing innovation and special initiatives as needed.
