Quality Control Agent

About the Role:

Roc Nation Distribution is looking for an Entry‑Level Quality Control (QC) Agent to help review and prepare music releases for distribution to major Digital Service Providers (DSPs), such as Spotify, Apple Music, You Tube, etc.

This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, an interest in music and streaming, with a desire to learn distribution and the broader music industry. You will be trained on DSP requirements and internal QC processes.

• Review music releases before they are delivered to DSPs
• Check audio, artwork, video, and metadata for unauthorized use, compliance, accuracy and completeness
• Ensure files meet basic technical and formatting requirements

• Identify errors or missing information and document issues clearly
• Communicate required fixes to internal teams or clients using provided tools
• Follow established QC guidelines and escalation processes

• Learn DSP rules, music metadata standards, and distribution workflows
• Stay up to date on platform guidelines with team support
• Contribute to improving QC accuracy and efficiency over time
• Contribute to product improvements through pattern recognition

• Previous coursework or experience in music, audio, media, or digital platforms
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional background and general interest in music preferred
• Ability to follow guidelines and review repetitive content consistently
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning new tools and platforms
• Strong communication skills - ability to prioritize open dialogue, active listening and communicate with all levels of staff
• Familiarity with streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, You Tube, etc.)
• Basic understanding of audio or metadata concepts preferred but not required

The expected compensation for this position is: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
