Responsibilities- Manage the plant quality system to ensure continuous production of products that meet established standards, customer specifications, and product goals.
- Lead all quality assurance related internal audits in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service, investigate and correct customer quality issues, and serve as liaison for customer issues per the 24‑5‑30 program.
- Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) per IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 17025 requirements, and maintain the laboratory to ISO 17025 standards.
- Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing, provide technical and statistical expertise, and oversee inspection activity throughout the production cycle.
- Develop and analyze statistical data, establish product specifications, and formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and objectives.
- Coordinate quality objectives with production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
- Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes, interact with vendors, perform internal audits, and address nonconformities.
- Lead environmental test functions, continuous improvement teams, and design and implement quality control training programs.
- Perform additional duties or special projects as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent).
- Seven (7) or more years of quality experience in manufacturing (plus).
- Six Sigma Black Belt with hands‑on, site‑wide application.
- Internal audit qualifications to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015.
- Metrology knowledge (plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication, time‑management, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Excel; BPCS experience (plus).
- Ability to interact with vendors and internal customers; metrics‑driven mindset.
Salary Range: $117,000 – $135,000.
