- Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
The LIS Coordinator provides support services to facilitate the repair, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instrumentation within a pharmaceutical R&D environment. This role supports critical laboratory operations by ensuring equipment readiness, assisting with documentation, and coordinating maintenance activities while maintaining compliance with GxP standards and laboratory safety protocols
.
- Work with staff regarding services required for installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations.
- Ensure customer requirements are met through review of GxP pipette or similar instrument certificates and test records provided by third‑party service providers.
- Perform daily equipment preparation and setup for laboratory operations.
- Ensure equipment is available for staff scientists as required.
- Replenish solvents used with laboratory equipment when needed.
- Gather documentation for inspection and audit purposes.
- Provide training support and backup to department personnel for reviewing GxP pipette or similar certificates and test reports.
- Follow standardized procedures and practices while receiving moderate supervision and guidance.
- Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
- Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under supervision.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Up to 2+ years of relevant laboratory or technical support experience.
- Experience supporting laboratory environments or equipment operations.
- Awareness of hazardous materials management and laboratory safety practices.
- Experience working in pharmaceutical R&D or regulated laboratory environments
. - Experience assisting with equipment calibration and gas management processes.
- Familiarity with laboratory documentation and inspection preparation.
- Reliable and detail‑oriented work habits
- Good communication skills

- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) experience
- Inventory and laboratory supply management
- Equipment preparation and calibration support
- Documentation and compliance support
- Daily gas management and calibration of gases used in the lab

- Supporting ad‑hoc tasks and laboratory monitoring activities
