Full-time Veterinary Technician Supervisor
Pet Vet Care Centers' Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists - Bohemia is currently seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join their team!

Position Overview- A working supervisor who performs medical technical duties (e.g., technicians and assistants), schedules, and supervises staff of the assigned department. Expedites patient care and ensures department efficiency. In charge of patient care standards, leads the team by example, demonstrates organizational skills, follows company policies, and maintains a professional attitude.
- Maintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billing.
- Collect and process work charts.
- Assist with entering in-patient charges and/or procedures performed in billing system.
- Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors.
- Process payments and monthly statements.
- Resolve escalated financial problems with clients, collect delinquent accounts and “NSF” checks; determine when special financial agreements are appropriate.
- Assist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable.
- Prepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be dependable and punctual.
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT).
- Relevant experience with veterinary appointments, surgeries, and nursing care for hospitalized and critical patients.

Pay Range: $43 — $47 USD
