The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC) is looking for a Janitor that will be responsible for maintaining the overall general housekeeping of the hospital.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Sanitize clinic spaces, restrooms, and replace bathroom supplies
- Dust, mop, and wipe daily staircases and hallways
- Trash and medical waste disposal
- Move furniture (i.e. tables, chairs, file cabinets) up to 50lbs
- Provide support for inclement weather duties, including providing umbrella bags, setting up slip protection mats, and shoveling / salting the perimeter of building
- Set up for events
- High School/GED
- Janitorial Service Certificate of Education is a plus
- Ability to read and understand signs and labels written in English
- Some similar experience preferred
- Ability to be flexible and able to perform more than one task at a time
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to operate tools and equipment used in janitorial work
- Must have knowledge of proper use and care of mechanical cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA and Safety requirements
- Full Time
- Tuesday - Saturday (3pm-11pm)
$16.89 - $20.39 USD
