Position Summary

As an independent utility vegetation management consulting contractor, Atlas Field Services, LLC has supported our client's vegetation management programs since 2016. Our company consists of ISA Certified Arborists and Utility Specialists who verify and Audit tree contractors’ work for compliance with client specifications and needs.

Atlas Field Services (AFS) is currently seeking a Utility Vegetation Management Resource Coordinator for our client. It is preferred candidates have three (3) year’s experience in electric utility line clearing. Able to train others on scheduling applications and databases. Knowledgeable on work processes for trim requests, new construction, restoration, scheduling line clearing, tree removal and be a fully skilled dispatcher.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Field Work Scheduling for Tree Vendor and Contract Arborist in conjunction with FPL departments.
  • Coordinate project deadlines with associated contractors and departments within FPL.
  • Manage the data collected in the field for processing, scheduling, and execution.
  • Manage the record keeping of all work types.
  • Process reports and distribute to the FPL departments and contractors.
  • Able to Support Storm Restoration Events, including travel, and extended hours until Restoration is complete.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Able to learn new technology and technical platforms
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Strong Skills as a Dispatcher
  • Must be skilled with technology and possess basic computer and smartphone skills
  • Valid Drivers License

Pre-Qualifications

  • Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • All candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.

Work Environment

  • This is primarily an in-office role reporting to our client’s location. A company vehicle will be provided.
