**** Hours/Days: 4/10 Hour Shifts;
Monday - Thursday (Between 7-6)

** In This Role, You Will:**
* ** Start and Maintain IV’s for Radiology procedures including but not limited to CT scans and PET/CT scans.**
* ** Monitor and chart vital signs, weight and height**
* ** Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge.**
* ** Conduct cancer research to enhance treatment protocols assigned to cancer patients.**
* ** Provide supportive resources for the patient and the families to promote a positive outlook.**
* ** Teach patients and the families regarding treatment expectations.**
* ** Watch and record the patient’s progress on a constant basis.**
* ** Chart the patient’s response to treatment and medication.**
* ** Complete MAR after treatment.**
* ** Provide the patient with discharge instructions that are specific to the patient as well as emergency numbers after care.**##
** We Require:**
* ** Valid New York State RN License**
* ** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.**
* ** Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.**
* ** Proficiency with an EMR (preferred)**
* ** Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer, standing, bending and reaching**
* ** Knowledge of standard precautions and the ability to utilize appropriate PPE when administering cytotoxic agents and handling blood borne pathogens and bodily fluids**
* ** Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.**
* ** Reliable transportation to travel to NYI locations for patient care needs**##
