Bronx Care serves city residents as the largest not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system covering the South and Central Bronx. The Bronx Care network provides close to 1 million outpatient visits, and ER volume has increased to 140,000 visits annually. Bronx Care’s Clinical Collaboration with the Mount Sinai Health System, its medical school affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and its 16 accredited fellowship and residency programs reflect the system’s stature.

• Case Assignments:
  Peds, endo, general, ENT, neuro, vascular, GYN, plastics
• Shifts:
  
  4 day work week. 7am-5pm
• Team Leadership:
  Michelle Marr-Scudder, DNAP, CRNA, MSN
• Team Highlights:
  Collaborative care-team model.

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient s physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

• Hourly Rate: $137.02/hour plus shift differentials
