Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting
Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure high-quality care
Manage multiple patients while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and aftercare
Respond effectively to changes in patient status and escalate when necessary

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Med Surg environment
