This contract offers a competitive weekly rate of  $3,700 , based on  four   12-hour night shifts , making it an excellent opportunity to strengthen your clinical and cardiac monitoring skills in a respected acute care facility.

Key Responsibilities of the Med Surg/Tele RN:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical, surgical, and cardiac conditions
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to telemetry alerts, and escalate concerns promptly
Perform detailed assessments, administer medications, and evaluate patient responses
Manage multiple patients and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, and discharge plans
Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EMR system
Adhere to safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and hospital policies
Requirements of the Med Surg/Tele RN:
Active New York RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred
Minimum  2 years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience  in an acute care hospital
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
