Key Responsibilities of the Travel Med Surg RN:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions
Conduct thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications
Manage multiple patients while prioritizing and responding to changing conditions
Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge needs
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Uphold safety standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies
Requirements of the Travel Med Surg RN:
Active New York RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
BLS required.
Minimum  2 years of recent Med Surg experience  in an acute care setting
Strong clinical assessment, time-management, and communication skills
Ability to care for a high-acuity, fast-paced patient population
