Schedule Notes: 3 shifts per week with Every other weekend and 1 hour lunch breaks. 1 contract- no extension

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment to patients presenting with acute and life-threatening conditions in a high-acuity emergency department setting.

• Perform triage and comprehensive emergency nursing assessments.
• Provide direct care to patients with medical, surgical, and traumatic emergencies.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and procedural sedation as ordered.
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience.
• Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Experience with conscious sedation.
• One contract only, no extension.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• AHA BLS.
• AHA ACLS.
• AHA PALS.
• TNCC (required at Bellevue, Kings County, and Jacobi only).

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
