Overview
Our Aesthetic Plastic Surgery practice on Park Avenue in Manhattan seeks an exceptional, high-level individual to circulate in and help run our operating room. Our practice is committed to unparalleled patient care in a beautiful Upper East Side office and fully accredited Office-Based Surgery Unit. The gamut of services ranges from surgery of the breast, body, and face to minimally invasive and nonsurgical treatments.
Our double-board certified plastic surgeon is a passionate, meticulous, and innovative surgeon who prides himself on maintaining a team that shares his values and commitment to extraordinary service and care. The successful candidate is a genuine leader with outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, both in and out of the OR, within a bustling practice.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- O.R. circulator and PACU nursing during in-office surgical procedures
- Coordinate surgical team (nursing, anesthesia, PAs), and maintain team’s credentials
- Maintain meticulous records for AAASF O.R. certification and survey every 3 years
- Manage vendor relations for ordering/maintaining OR supplies, negotiating pricing and updating inventory (in coordination with other RNs)
- Record all intraoperative notes into patient chart
- Review all essential post-op care with patient and caretaker (in coordination with other RNs)
- Ensure follow-up with all patients post-operatively (in coordination with other RNs)
- Accompany the surgeon in exam rooms (in coordination with other RNs)
- Prepare exam rooms for all non-surgical treatments and procedures
- Conduct pre and post-operative appointments, addressing medications, protocol, consent forms
- See patients for follow-up care, including drain removals and dressing changes
- Registered Nurse degree, licensed in NY State
- Excellent organizational skills, professionalism, and poise
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in plastic surgery, beauty, and health
- Ability to become facile with a fully computerized patient record (EMR) system
