Overview

Manhattan Psychiatric Center (MPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join their nursing team. Positions are available on day, evening, and night shift, including every other weekend.

As an LPN at MPC, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse on a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing compassionate care through patient-centered and recovery-focused mental health services to individuals with mental illness.

Responsibilities
  • Perform nursing care tasks consistent with individual treatment plans.
  • Administer medication.
  • Attend to individuals’ personal care needs including daily living and hygiene tasks.
  • Measure and record vital signs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • License and current registration to practice as a practical nurse in New York State; OR
  • Limited permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State; OR
  • Application on file for a limited permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State.
