Certified Nursing Assistant at New York State Department of Health
Pay Range: $55,735.00/yr - $59,743.00/yr (includes annual downstate adjustment of $4,000.00, geographic differential of $6,000.00 and $575.00 evening/night shift differential, if applicable)
Responsibilities- Provide skilled care to Veterans in a 252‑bed skilled long‑term care nursing facility.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, general hygiene and transfer of residents.
- Care for ostomies, colostomy & ileostomy and maintain range of motion to prevent contractures.
- Recognize and report abnormal signs and symptoms of common conditions/diseases.
- Measure and record fluid intake.
- Assist healthcare team with treatments and observations.
- Perform all aspects of daily living cares.
- Current NYS Nursing Assistant Certification.
- All shifts available.
