Job Description

Pride Health is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for a contract opportunity in an Adult Emergency Department in the Bronx, NY. This role supports a high-volume acute-care setting and requires strong ER clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Initiate IVs, perform phlebotomy, and administer medications as ordered
• Provide and monitor care for patients requiring conscious sedation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Accurately document patient care and clinical findings
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and ER protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy
• Experience with conscious sedation
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• TNCC certification
