Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is a nurse who, through clinical experience, study and supervise practice in patient care at the masters or doctoral level, has gained expertise in a specific specialty area of patient care services. The CNS demonstrates the advanced knowledge and skills required for specialty nursing. The CNS is responsible and accountable for the development and application of specialty practice standards, staff development, regulatory compliance and research to enhance the quality of care to the patient and the patient’s family.
As an advanced practitioner, the CNS is essential to the management of complex patient and systems related issues.

Work Shift:
Day (United States of America) – Salary Range: $86,650.99 - $ – Hourly Rate: $38.53 - $63.58.
- Develop and apply specialty practice standards.
- Facilitate staff development.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct research to enhance quality of patient and family care.
- Manage complex patient and systems related issues.
