Nursing Manager

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hospital Setting)

Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor with a strong background in Behavioral Health to join a hospital-based team in Brooklyn, NY. This leadership role is responsible for planning and developing programs that improve patient care quality and enhance employee performance.

The Nurse Supervisor will oversee nursing units, collaborate closely with Nurse Managers, monitor performance, and assist with corrective actions when necessary. The role also includes developing and maintaining record-keeping systems related to medication errors and staff counseling in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

• Plan, develop, and implement programs to improve patient care and nursing staff performance
• Monitor patient care delivery and nursing performance across assigned units
• Conduct unit assessments in collaboration with Nurse Managers
• Communicate findings and support corrective action plans as needed
• Develop and maintain documentation and record-keeping systems, including medication errors and counseling records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, New York State regulations, and accreditation standards
• Support staff development, accountability, and continuous quality improvement initiatives

• Minimum 7 years of nursing experience
  , including 5 years in a supervisory role
• Behavioral Health department experience is required
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience in hospital-based clinical operations and performance monitoring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (Required)
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (Required)

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS Certification (Required)

Travel:

• $105.59 – $107.59 per hour (equivalent)

Local:

• $95 – $98 per hour
