Job Summary:

The Urology Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients receiving urologic services in an ambulatory setting. This role supports safe treatment delivery, patient education, and coordination of care within a specialty clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for urology patients, including assessments and treatment support.

• Assist with urologic procedures and related clinical interventions.

• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and protocols.

• Educate patients on procedures, treatments, and follow-up care.

• Document nursing care accurately in the electronic medical record.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience – Required

• Urology and/or vascular chemotherapy instillation experience – Required

• Med/Surg and/or ambulatory care experience – Preferred

• Ability to float within urology-related services as needed

• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required

Certifications:

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

License:
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License – Required
