Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a “Nurse Manager – Patient Care Service (PACU)” that will provide support to one of our client’s healthcare systems in New York, NY. This is a contract assignment with a strong likelihood of completion and an excellent opportunity to work within a top-tier acute care hospital system.

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead patient care operations within the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role requires strong leadership in patient experience, quality, and safety initiatives within an acute care environment.
All requirements listed are non-negotiable.

• Lead nursing practice using relationship-centered care and modified primary nursing models
• Oversee and ensure compliance with Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR)
• Conduct daily patient rounding and initiate service recovery as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Lead quality, safety, and high-reliability initiatives
• Monitor staff performance, documentation compliance, and clinical competencies
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning

• Active New York State RN License
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – REQUIRED
• Proven Nurse Manager experience in an acute care hospital
• PACU experience – REQUIRED
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience
• Prior charge nurse and/or supervisory experience
• Ability to work onsite, full-time, evening shift

Candidates without Nurse Manager experience, PACU experience, or a BSN will not be considered.
