As a School RN at Thera Care, you will provide direct nursing care to students during the school day in a variety of educational settings. • • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• • Oversee the school health office including triage, injury response, and wellness checks.
• • Monitor student health conditions and respond to emergency situations.
• • Communicate with parents, school staff, and agency supervisors regarding student care.
• • Maintain accurate and timely health records in compliance with NYC DOE and NYS DOH guidelines.
• • Ensure adherence to all public health protocols and nursing standards.

• • Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• • At least 2 years of nursing experience in pediatrics, public health, or school-based roles.
• • CPR/BLS certification (required).
• • Familiarity with patient electronic database systems and documentation standards.
• • Strong organizational, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.

• • Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer).
• • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• • Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis.
