Our client takes care of its community in our 460+ bed hospital and via our network of family health centers, medical practices and other ambulatory care sites, located both on their main campus and throughout New Yorks neighborhoods.
The Nurse Manager, Operating Room is responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership within the operating room department, ensuring high-quality surgical care, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a collaborative team environment. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.
Provide oversight, coordination, and organization of clinical and administrative operations of surgical services activities to meet departmental, hospital and health system objectives related to the provision of patient care within the clinical areas and the specialty.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Masters or Doctorate preferred.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of progressive leadership in a acute perioperative environment.
Degrees, Licensures,
Certifications:
- Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of New York. BLS certification required.
