PER DIEM/ON-CALL CNA (CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT)

We are currently seeking Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team in providing compassionate care and assistance to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient(s) with daily activities such as feeding, dressing, and bathing.
• Administer medication and monitor patient reactions per physician's order.
• Measure vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate.
• Provide emotional support to patient(s) and their families.
• Observe and report any changes in patients’ physical or mental conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the patient's environment.
• Follow care plan to meet patients' physiological and psychosocial conditions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing insights on residents’ conditions.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Active CNA license in New York State (required).
• Prior experience in a nursing home or long‑term care setting preferred.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle a demanding work environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move residents up to 50 pounds.
• Education:
  
  Entry level (0–2 years).
