RN-Nursing Supervisor- Evening Shift

Full-Time - 3pm-11:15pm. The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a self-motivated, outgoing and team-oriented Registered Nurse for an RN Supervisor on the 3:00pm-11:15pm shift. This is a key clinical management role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis.

RN-Nursing Supervisor — Full-Time - 3pm-11:15pm. The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a self-motivated, outgoing and team-oriented Registered Nurse for an RN Supervisor on the 3:00pm-11:15pm shift. This is an exciting position and key clinical management role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis.

Some of your daily tasks as RN Supervisor include overall responsibility for the coordination and administration of nursing services during the evening shift, including supervising the delivery of clinical care, providing staff support, conducting investigations and audits as needed, and monitoring overall compliance with Parker s policies, procedures, standards and regulations.

The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, conveniently located on the Queens-Nassau County border in New Hyde Park, New York, is a non-profit health care facility that offers inpatient programs such as sub-acute/short term rehabilitation, long-term care and nursing home care, as well as community health services encompassing certified home health care and a comprehensive community hospice program that serves terminally ill patients in their own homes or in nursing facilities, including Parker s nursing home.

• Current NYS RN license
• Bachelor s Degree in Nursing or related area
• Previous experience as an RN in a skilled nursing, assisted living or post-acute setting
• Previous experience as an RN Supervisor, Manager or Charge Nurse preferred
