General Description
Diagnosing and treatment of responses to actual and / or potential health problems through providing services such as case finding, direct patient care, health teaching, health counseling, supporting and restoring of life and well-being.
The Dialysis Staff Nurse will work under the supervision of the clinical care coordinator and / or dialysis charge nurse.
RN will administer high quality standards of Nursing Care to dialysis patients.
Will utilize Standards of Clinical Practice for Nephrology Nursing.
Will be primarily responsible for providing the patients with a safe and effective dialysis treatment.
Will utilize the Nursing process to coordinate the dialysis patient's care:
Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation.
Will also communicate with clinical care coordinator / charge nurse regarding patient's condition and tolerance of dialysis treatments.
RN will assist with maintenance of dialysis machinery.
Position Qualifications- New York State RN License, Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program
- 1 year experience as a Dialysis RN preferably
- Req. Certification / Registration : BLS
Full-time
Pay$49.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours37.50 per week.
