Overview
Doral Health & Wellness is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dialysis clinic in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time LPN nurse role follows a rotating Monday–Saturday schedule (MWF and TThS) and offers a rewarding opportunity to support patients undergoing dialysis for kidney disease and related conditions.

Compensation & Benefits- Hourly rate: $42/hour (commensurate with experience).

- Assist with patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
- Monitor and document vital signs, promptly reporting changes to the RN (Registered Nurse) or physician.
- Administer prescribed medications within LPN nurse scope of practice.
- Prepare, set up, and monitor dialysis equipment; assist with vascular access site care.
- Collaborate with RNs, licensed practical nurses, CNAs, and physicians to execute care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment and home care instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment in our LPN clinic.
- Active New York State LPN license.
- Prior dialysis, nephrology, or LPN hospital/clinic experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong observation, teamwork, and patient education skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- CNA, nurse, and new grad LPNs with dialysis exposure encouraged to apply.
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
