LPN - Forge; CWAT

The LPN provides care to patients in accordance with their developmental needs, following the standards of the Department of Nursing and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure.

• Perform complete assessment data collection, under the supervision of an RN and/or provider, on all patients.
• Assess and reassess pain. Educate the patient and family regarding pain management.
• Observe and identify adverse changes in patient condition and notify appropriate RN and/or provider.
• Maintain current knowledge of medications and their correct administration.
• Interact professionally with patients and families. Involve patients and families in patient education.
• Clean and operate equipment correctly.
• Perform other duties as required.

REQUIRED:

• Current New York State Practical Nursing Registration.
• CPR Certification.
