Job OverviewAt NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, nursing is a life‑changing career journey focused on amazing patient outcomes every step of the way. You will have the opportunity to work within Heart Failure, predominately assisting with remote monitoring. This Nurse Practitioner will be the driving force behind long‑term care for patients with implantable devices. Together, we improve the health of patients and their families, making our communities – and the world – stronger.
This is a full‑time 4 days a week, day shift position located at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Preferred Criteria- 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred
- Previous acute care RN experience in Cardiology
- Master’s Degree in Nursing required
- 1+ year of clinical experience
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- Board Certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Adult, Acute Care or Family Nurse Practitioner
- New York State Prescriptive Authority
- Current Registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Please note that all roles require on‑site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
