We’re seeking forward‑thinking, experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners who understand the magnitude of the need and want to be part of the solution. Working with Brightside means being able to practice with clinical autonomy alongside Psychiatrist support while creating a flexible work schedule. Our providers use the latest tools, including a custom‑built practice management EMR and clinical decision support.
Responsibilities- Maintain all appropriate licensure to prescribe and dispense medications under applicable state and federal laws.
- Have excellent grammar, attention to detail, and be proficient at writing medical information at a patient level.
- Be technology‑savvy and excited about how technology can improve medical care.
- Be pleasant, responsive, and willing to collaborate with our team.
- Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (remote); including synchronous video consultations and asynchronous messaging.
- Consistently respond to clinical leadership and be highly reliable to our members.
- Evaluate patient records, make prescribing decisions, and provide medication‑related counseling as needed in a timely manner.
- Successfully complete charting within 48 hours of session.
- Support a 72‑hour messaging response window for patients.
- Active and clear APRN license.
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner – Certified in Psychiatric & Mental Health (PMHNP required).
- At least 2 years of autonomous experience as a PMHNP, post‑graduate.
- Previous experience working in an outpatient setting.
- Telehealth experience and high comfort level working with technology.
- Licensed in 4+ states (the more the merrier).
- 8+ hours of availability per week.
- Experience working with adolescents is strongly preferred.
- Opted in to Medicare/Medicaid.
