Description
Responsible for assessing and assisting with patient care.
Plans and documents nursing care tailored to patient needs.
Identifies and prioritizes patient care needs through comprehensive assessments.
Develops individualized care plans based on ongoing assessments.
Performs therapeutic interventions as needed.
Advocates for evidence-based practice standards.
Provides patient-centered care in line with professional nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assist with patient care alongside physicians.
- Plan and implement nursing care based on patient assessments.
- Document patient care according to standards and priorities.
- Coordinate and manage patient care effectively.
- Advocate for evidence-based practices in care delivery.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Med Surg/Tele unit in an acute care hospital setting.
Strong background in Med Surg/Tele.
ASN required; BSN preferred.
Required certifications: NIHSS, Telemetry, BLS-AHA, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours.
Must have a NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
