Base pay range$96,147.00/yr - $/yr
Duties Description- Participate in nursing activities, including the preparation, evaluation, and implementation of nursing care plans to ensure quality patient care
- Act as health liaison. Coordinate and schedule medical follow-up, including completion of consultations
- Provide first aid and emergency nursing care
- Monitor and order pharmaceutical supplies for each individual
- Attend team reviews and present information, as needed
- Meet documentation requirements, i.e. obtaining and transcribing physicians’ orders, daily nursing notes, health charts, medication regimen reviews, and case review summaries
- Provide medication administration
- Maintain inventory standards for medication, controlled substances, and medical supplies
- Participate in staff training
- Prepare clinical and administrative reports

This title is part of the New York Hiring Emergency Limited Placement Statewide program (NY HELPS). For the duration of the NY HELPS Program, the title may be filled via a non‑competitive appointment if the candidate meets the NY HELPS minimum qualifications - Licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State. Must maintain a valid New York State license and registration

$95,879–$105,138 – Posted Hiring Salary includes the sum of the statutory hiring rate for PS&T Grade 18 and Geographic Differential ($20,000). Staff who are regularly scheduled to work a weekend shift may be eligible for a pro‑rated shift differential; this amount can be confirmed prior to employment.
For the duration of the NY HELPS Program, this title may be filled via a non‑competitive appointment, which means no examination is required but all candidates must meet the minimum qualifications of the title for which they apply. At a future date (within one year of permanent appointment) it is expected employees hired under NY HELPS will have their non‑competitive employment status converted to competitive status without having to compete in an examination.
Employees will then be afforded all the same rights and privileges of competitive class employees of New York State. While serving permanently in a NY HELPS title, employees may take part in any promotion examination for which they are qualified.
