A Busy Hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationSyracuse, New York, is centrally located in the heart of New York State. Here youll enjoy exploring the scenic outdoor parks, fantastic food scene, and year-round festivals.
About the Clinician's WorkdayProviders must cross-credential at the surgery center. The position offers a $400 weekly car rental or mileage stipend and a $165 daily lodging stipend. Case types include General Surgery, GYN, Bariatric, Spine, OB, Ortho (with blocks), and occasional Neuro/Head and Pediatric cases. This is a supervision role covering the main OR and surgery centers, with a 1:3 supervision ratio when applicable.
There is no overtime, and in-house OB call is preferred. The main OR includes 17 rooms (covering EP/Cath Lab, GI, and IR), with additional rooms at Madison Irving Surgery Center (4), Physician Office Building (4), and Labor & Delivery (3). Charting is primarily on paper, except for pre- and post-op orders, which are entered electronically. Emergency privileging can be completed within 30 days.
