The organization seeks immediate coverage for a full-time psychiatric nurse practitioner position to support their growing mental health services.

Upstate New York features natural attractions including Watkins Glen State Park and the renowned Niagara Falls, which comprises the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. The region offers cultural experiences at venues such as the Corning Museum of Glass and numerous wineries and vineyards. These destinations are accessible through organized tours, with typical exploration times of 4 to 5 hours for major attractions like Niagara Falls.

The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive adult psychiatric services across inpatient and outpatient settings. Weekend responsibilities include adult inpatient coverage every other weekend from Saturday 7am to Monday 7am, requiring 6-8 hours onsite for patient evaluations with the remainder on call. Weekday duties involve adult outpatient coverage on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am to 4:30pm. The position requires prescriptive authority, board certification (negotiable), and full onsite presence with no telepsychiatry options available.
