Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long Term Care
Brooklyn, NY, 11212(Onsite)
Assignment Details
- Start Date: February 10, 2026
- End Date: May 9, 2026 (With Possible Extension)
- Openings: 45 positions
- Hours: 37.5 hours/week
- Schedule: 5 days per week + every other weekend
- Shifts Available:
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and toileting
- Provide incontinent and skin care
- Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and use of mechanical lifts
- Turn and reposition residents every 2–3 hours
- Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output
- Assist residents with meals and hydration
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Respond promptly to call bells and alarms
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Document care in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Provide compassionate care to elderly and cognitively impaired residents
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA Certification
- Listed on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a NY State–approved CNA training program (minimum 100 hours)
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately
- Knowledge of skin breakdown prevention
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience
